you might have to lie & say you're a filmmaker....
then, upload a reel to your page as a project and submit it to us.
In 2024, we kicked off our inaugural Stand-Up Competition and it was a huge success!

Well, look no further...
There will be 1 mega heat in May 2025.
Roughly 5 comedians from that heat will be shortlisted. There will be an audience vote at it also.
These semi-finalists will be invited to perform at the launch night of DICFF on Friday night the 28th November 2025 at Tailors Hall in Dublin 8. There will be an audience vote once more.
3 finalists will be selected to perform on Sunday the 30th November at Tailors Hall.
There will be a voting audience & a judging panel.
What's the Award?
The winner will win a trip to New Jersey, USA in March 2026 to perform at the famous Count Basie Theatre...
..where there will be comedy bookers present for USA!

Register for free with Filmfreeway and create a page there. You might have to say you're a filmmaker!!
Upload your links to your stand-up sets to the project pages on your Filmfreeway profile.
Please type up a bio and have a headshot on your page and any photos of you performing.
Then submit to us via the Best Comedian tab. There will be a small submission fee. When submitting please write in your cover note where your best 5 minutes are on your reel.
